DNA sequences from environmental samples collected aboard a 3rd Generation Environmental Sample Processor (3G-ESP) attached to a long-range autonomous vehicle. Sample collection took place in Western Lake Erie to characterize HABs conditions during the August and September 2018 bloom. This marks the first deployment of a 3G-ESP to characterize a freshwater environment.
