资源简介:
Hostile design can be understood as a collection of specific interventions within public spaces, designed with the intention of curbing undesirable behaviors and, in doing so, discouraging certain social groups from frequenting those areas (e.g., installation of benches divided by armrests, preventing individuals from lying down). In this study, we measure approval of hostile design (AoHD) and investigated potential correlates. Expanding upon Duckitt's dual process motivational model of ideology and prejudice (DPM, Duckitt 2001), our objective is to both empirically and theoretically situate the concept of AoHD within a broader context. We study the interrelation between AoHD, dangerous and competitive worldviews as well as RWA and SDO. The study aims to replicate findings from a German sample in an US-American sample. Participants will be sampled via Prolific. A total of 300 participants will be recruited. Data will be gathered using an online questionnaire. Analyses are based on a cross-sectional sample. unknown other
