Ecologica Barcaldine Aridland Botanical Gardens 2

This project will protect and enhance plant species and communities by developing the Barcaldine Botanic Gardens and Park to preserve and improve significant Desert Uplands ecologies. As the Gardens will be opening to the public for the first time (winter season 2016), the Green Army participants will continue to do further plant identification, specimen and seed collection, weed treatments, remedial environmental works and further infrastructure, whilst doing park maintenance. Participants may also choose to gain experience as Park guides.
