The study aims at exploring the function of the deubiquitinase USP12 in lung tumorigenesis and malignant progression. To obtain molecular insights into how USP12 acts in lung tumor cells, we profiled the genes transcriptionally affected by enforced USP12 expression. Overall design: The gene expression profiling in the control and USP12-overexpressed A549 cells were measured by RNA-seq and compared between groups. The alterations of gene expression were then subjected to pathway enrichment analysis.
