资源简介:
Sporotrichosis is a fungal disease caused by a complex of Sporothrix schenckii, which leads to chronic infections of the epidermis and subcutaneous tissue in both humans and animals. In our previous studies, we found that abaA gene expression is upregulated during the dimorphic switch of Sporothrix schenckii (S. schenckii) from the mycelial phase to the yeast phase. Additionally, abaA deficiency reduces the resistance of S. schenckii to stress. These findings suggest that the abaA gene is essential for the dimorphic switch of S. schenckii. Therefore, it is reasonable to speculate that this gene may also play a crucial role in the dimorphic switch of Sporothrix globosa (S. globosa). In this study, four small molecule drugs were screened from a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved small molecule database using virtual screening.
