Genomic and phenotypic data for Ethiopian sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) GWAS on plant height and seed coat color.

This dataset contains genotypic and phenotypic data from 200 Ethiopian sesame accessions used to dissect the genetic architecture of plant height and seed coat color. It includes (1) a filtered Excel file with 3,683 high‑confidence genome‑wide SNPs; (2) phenotypic measurements of plant height (cm) and seed coat color parameters (L, a, b* in CIELAB space) across two growing seasons; (3) accession metadata including geographical origin; and (4) summary files from a global meta‑QTL analysis identifying six conserved genomic hotspots. (5) ten supplementary tables. The data support the findings of the associated publication, enabling validation and reuse in sesame genetics and breeding research.
