Research Dataset of Entrepreneurship Roles in Civil Infrastructure

This dataset documents a systematically curated and expert-validated body of knowledge on the roles of entrepreneurship in the civil infrastructure industry, covering peer-reviewed publications indexed in Scopus between 2021 and 2025. The corpus consists of 34 open-access journal articles selected through a transparent PRISMA workflow, ensuring procedural rigor and replicability. The review was conducted using a structured search strategy and predefined inclusion criteria to capture studies situated at the intersection of civil infrastructure systems and entrepreneurial activity. The resulting database reflects the current state of scholarly development on how entrepreneurship functions within infrastructure development, construction systems, and public infrastructure ecosystems.The dataset includes two principal components. First, the PRISMA workflow documentation (docx.) details identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion processes, enabling full methodological transparency. Second, the SLR mapping table (docx.) systematically catalogs bibliographic metadata, thematic categorizations, and methodological characteristics of the 34 reviewed studies.This repository is intended to support open science practices, reproducibility, and secondary analysis. All materials are presented in document format suitable for post-print archiving and institutional repositories. By disclosing coding stages, validation thresholds, and aggregation logic, the dataset enables scholars to trace analytical decisions from raw thematic extraction to conceptual synthesis. Researchers may use this dataset to replicate, extend, or comparatively examine entrepreneurship roles across infrastructure domains, while policymakers and practitioners may draw on the validated framework to inform institutional design and strategic capability development within infrastructure ecosystems.
