Invasive candidiasis caused by non-albicans species has been on the rise in recent years, with Candida glabrata being the second most common etiological agent. Currently, we have limited knowledge about its fluconazole resistance mechanism. In this study, we conducted piggyBac transposon-mediated mutagenesis and genome-wide genetic screens in Candida glabrata.
