Scientometric dataset of publication coverage, metadata completeness, and international collaboration across selected cognitive science journals

This dataset documents publication coverage, metadata completeness, and international research collaboration across a predefined panel of cognitive science journals. The analytical corpus was compiled from a Scopus bibliographic export frozen on 30 September 2024 under institutional access and covers publication years 2000-2024. Sequential corpus rules retained 49,036 Article/Review records after year, journal-panel, document-type, and deterministic duplicate-control gates. Country coding was available for 48,933 records, and 14,835 records contained affiliations from at least two distinct countries. The deposit contains aggregate tabular data, country-level full and fractional counting summaries, a fractional country-collaboration network, annual metadata-completeness and citation-field summaries, five-year international-collaboration summaries, validation metadata, a column-level data dictionary, cryptographic file-integrity hashes, reproducibility code, and figure provenance. Article figures can be regenerated directly from the deposited aggregate tables. Record-level Scopus content is not included.
