Laboratory-measured soil gas diffusivity as a function of air-filled porosity for straight pores ( 0 degrees from vertical) and inclined (45 degrees from vertical)

This dataset contains laboratory-measured values of soil gas diffusivity (Dp) and corresponding air-filled porosity (εa) used to investigate gas transport dynamics in porous media. Measurements were performed under controlled laboratory conditions using manufactored samples, without site-specific context. The dataset supports the manuscript currently under review in Water Resources Research entitled “A Complex-Plane Representation of Gas Diffusivity in Fractured Media.” Sample preparation: fabricated samples of known pore volume Measurement: Diffusivity determined using a steady-state gas diffusion apparatus Temperature: 20 °C. Replicates: Each data point represents the mean of replicate measurements.
