Lispe phylogeny

In this project, the restriction site-associated DNA sequencing (RAD-seq) approach was used to reconstruct the phylogeny of the muscid genus Lispe Latreille, 1796. Raw reads were assembled using both de novo and reference genome approach under various analytical schemes. For the reference-based approach, a genome of Lispe tentaculata was assembled using newly obtained long reads from the MinION device by Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT). The main objective of the study was to clarify the division of Lispe representatives into species groups, define their limits, and investigate the relationships between these species groups.
