Data for the study 'Generative AI, Contract Cheating and the Barriers to Academic Misconduct'

We investigate the factors which deter students from submitting AI-generated work as their own using a study of c.500 UK and Australian University students. Respondents completed a Best-Worst Scaling (BWS) choice experiment concerning what most and least deters them from submitting coursework they did not produce.
