snRNAseq of neurons from female Aedes aegypti mosquito antennae

We conducted single-nucleus RNA sequencing of 46K neurons from Aedes aegypti mosquito antennae to generate a comprehensive map of neuronal diversity and gene expression across the primary olfactory organ of this species. Neurons came from the antennal flagellum of 5-7 day old, mated, non-blood fed females of the Orlando strain. Neuronal nuclei were marked with GFP (brp>unc84::2xGFP genotype) so that they could be sorted from non-neural cells via FACS before 10X library prep.
