Chicken restaurant chain Popeyes added a new chicken sandwich to their menu in August 2019. Less than a month after it was launched, the chicken sandwich had sold out. Those buying the chicken sandwich came from various generations - from Gen Z to seniors. According to the source, as of September 2019, Generation X held the largest share of Popeyes' chicken sandwich buyers, accounting for 43 percent. In contrast, only 1.8 percent of seniors stated that they bought the Popeyes chicken sandwich.
