This dataset contains preprocessed EEG recordings from 35 participants who completed an oddball paradigm designed to investigate the role of attention in face ensemble perception. EEG was acquired at 1000 Hz using a 64-channel actiCHamp system (BrainProducts) arranged according to the international 10–10 system, with additional EOG electrodes for ocular artifact detection. Data were referenced online to mastoids and re-referenced offline to the common average.Signals were band-pass filtered (0.1–35 Hz), notch-filtered at 50 Hz, epoched from −200 ms to 600 ms relative to stimulus onset, baseline-corrected, and cleaned using ICA (20 components, FastICA). Noisy channels were interpolated, and remaining contaminated epochs (eye movements, artifacts, responses, fixation changes, and subsequent trials) were removed after visual inspection. Practice trials and epochs that contained fixation changes or participants' responses, as well as the epochs immediately following these were excluded. Participants with
