资源简介:
The data was collected from rats on a three-arm alternating delay task, in which rats alternate between arms (left -> middle -> right -> middle -> left). Before each arm visit the rat runs on a wheel. Data is from 3 rats over 4 sessions (rec03 and rec04 are from the same rat).There are three files for each session (x represents session number):
* rec0x.lfp - LFP data sampled at 1250 Hz
* rec0xBehavElectrDataLFP.mat - behavior and spike data sampled at 1250 Hz. See below for more details on key variables found in this file.
* data0x.mat - LFP, Behavioral, and spiking data sampled at 25 Hz.Some key variables found in rec0xBehavElectrDataLFP.mat:Clu - has the information for each sorted cluster (corresponding to isolated neurons). Notable fields include:shank - which shank data was recorded from. For sessions 1/2, shanks 1-32 are in CA1, while larger shank numbers are from mPFC. For sessions 3/4, shanks 1-24 are in CA1, while larger shank numbers are from mPFC.isIntern - a boolean indicating whether a cell is an interneuron (1 indicates interneuron).Spike - has information about spike times. Notable fields:res - the sample at which the spike was detected. Sampling rate is 1250 Hz so a value of 1 indicates sample was collected at 1/1250 s.clu - which cluster (neuron) the spike belongs to.Track - has information about behavior of the rat. Notable fields:xMM/yMM - the x and y-coordinate of the rat in mm. The x-coordinate indicates the position of the rat along one of the 3 maze arms.mazeSect - which of the maze sections the rat is in. It is easiest to visualize these by making a scatter plot of x and y positions and color-coding the points by which maze section the rat is currently in.lapID - trial #corrChoice - whether the animal went down the correct maze arm. When this is 0, the rat made and error, which, in contrast to correct choices, causes the rat to spend very little time at the reward port.Information on data0x.mat. Each of the following matrices is sampled at 25 Hz:
Spikes - number of spikes emitted by each of N neurons in each of T time bins, represented as a T row x N column matrix. Note that this includes neurons from mPFC and CA1 - see Clu.shank in the description above to identify neurons in each region.lfps - voltage at each of E electrodes in each of T time steps, represented as a T row x E electrode matrix. This variable only contains data from CA1; rec0x.lfp contains data from mPFC as well.lapID - a T x 6 matrix, with columns
1 - trial number;
2 - maze arm (0-2 represent arms 1-3; -1 represents periods when animal is outside the 3 arms, such as wheel running);
3 - correct vs incorrect trial (1 represents trials in which rat chose correct arm and got water reward; 0 for incorrect);
4 - phase of trial (0 = other; 1 = running towards port; 2 = at reward port; 3 = running away from port);
5/6 - x and y position on maze
