The dataset contains the Open Government Data (OGD) of U.S. department (https://www.data.gov) retrieved using the query "Engineering" in the title, description and keywords. For each OGD we extract from the textual data terms related to Engineering Design and the data format using Text Mining techniques.
本数据集囊括了美国政府部门（https://www.data.gov）所公开的开放政府数据（Open Government Data，简称OGD），这些数据通过在标题、描述及关键词中运用“工程”这一查询条件进行检索获得。对于每一份OGD，我们通过文本挖掘技术从文本数据中提取与工程设计相关的术语以及数据格式。
