SWiM: Spacecraft With Masks is a large-scale instance segmentation dataset consisting of nearly 64k annotated spacecraft images created using real spacecraft models overlaid on real and synthetic backgrounds generated with NASAs TTALOS pipeline. The dataset has been processed with various types of noise and distortion to mimic camera characteristics in real-world image acquisition. It is suitable for YOLO and segmentation applications and provides tools for chunked downloading and flattening the directory structure.
