Thesis Experiment Data

There are 3 Experiment Folders. Each experiment has 9 replicates (9 run folders).

For each "run folder", there is a config file, an iteration.p file from 0 to final, and a log. 

Additionally, there is inside the "run folder", a folder with the name of the levels where solutions were evolved (the name is the number of the level from 0 to 6). 

In this folder,

there are some relevant extracted data, such as the final_grid.csv that contains the final MapElites grid, the final population obtained by the end of that level; and the stats.csv that has the Avg, Std, Max Fitness, and QD scores form every iteration throughout evolution in that level.

Furthermore, there are 4 .png files that condense information about evolution in that level, and there is a JSON file, that stores all son and father pairs that existed/were produced in that level.

The folder "Top10" has the videos and the ANNs of the top 10 fittest solutions from that level, and the folder "Extremes" contains the videos and the ANNs of the solutions that had extreme descriptor values (the highest and lowest) for both features ("number of edges" and "Z peaks average"). However, due to making the data too heavy, these 2 folders were deleted for every "run folder" but might contain useful visualization data, and should be addressed in the future.
