Abundância sazonal de aves no módulo PPBio-MA

Foram realizados censos aproximadamente bimestrais de aves ao longo de parte das trilhas existentes no módulo no período de novembro/2015 a outubro/2016. O método utilizado foi o de censo por transecção com registro da distância linear das aves
ao transecto. Também foram contabilizados o número de frutos zoocóricos maduros produzidos pelas árvores (CAP>10cm) em uma área total de 1500m², distribuída entre as parcelas 1 (800m² iniciais da parcela), 2 (800m²), 3 (700m²) e 4 (700m²). Nestas mesmas parcelas, foram quantificadas as biomassas secas de artrópodes (<2cm) capturados em cada campanha mediante o uso de armadilhas de interceptação de voo. As biomassas foram obtidas após 48h de secagem em estufa a 60°C e em balança de precisão. As armadilhas foram dispostas no início e final das parcelas 1 e 2 (i.e., n=2 por parcela) e apenas no início das parcelas 3 e 4 (i.e., n=1 por parcela).-------------------------------------### Translation:
Approximately bimonthly bird censuses were conducted along part of the existing trails in the module from November 2015 to October 2016. The method used was a transect census, recording the linear distance of birds to the transect.

The number of mature zoochoric fruits produced by trees (DBH >10 cm) was also recorded within a total area of 1500 m², distributed among the following plots:
- Plot 1: 800 m² (initial section of the plot)
- Plot 2: 800 m²
- Plot 3: 700 m²
- Plot 4: 700 m²

In these same plots, the dry biomass of arthropods (<2 cm) captured during each survey was quantified using flight interception traps. The biomass was obtained after 48 hours of drying in an oven at 60°C and measured on a precision balance. The traps were placed at the beginning and end of plots 1 and 2 (i.e., n=2 per plot) and only at the beginning of plots 3 and 4 (i.e., n=1 per plot).
