Datasets from real ONT sequencing of mock microbiomes from two papers - Srinivas M. et al. Scientific Reports 2025, and Sereika M. et al. Nature Methods 2022. The Srinivas et al. datasets are directly available and have been renamed here as follows:- SAn_rrn_C03, n=1,2,3,4 ERR12650369.. ERR126500372 SZn_rrn_C03, n=1,2,3,4 ERR12650381.. ERR126500384The Sereika et al. datasets are derived from whole genome sequencing of the Zymo Microbiomics D6322 mock microbiome by extracting the 16S and 23S sequences from reads which have complete versions of these sequences identifiable on them. The mSerf sequences use all of the 16S and 23S sequences extracted, while the other datasets are sub-sampled as described in the primary paper and its Supplementary Material.
