High-Resolution/ - ONE representative sample of HR outputs only to illustrate input data format and - High-resolution data - Format: [.mat] - Coordinate system: Image-based - NOTE: Full HR data from WRF model outputs used in the study CANNOT be redistributed due to permission restrictions on WRF model outputs. 2. Low-Resolution/ - Low-resolution data - Format: [.mat] - Coordinate system: Image-based 3. Output/ - Generated data - Format: [.mat] - Coordinate system: Image-based - Rows: [Image; Date; Pressure level] 4. Precipitation/ - Precipitation data - Format: [.mat] - Coordinate system: Image-based - Rows: [Image; Date] 5. Pressure_Levels/ - Information related to precipitation - Format: [.mat] - Unit: hPa - Rows: [Image; Date] 6. Time/ - Information related to time of the images - Format: [.mat] - Coordinate system: Image-based DATA SOURCES The source data used for preprocessing and processing in this study were provided from the following: radiosonde data from the University of Wyoming Upper Air archive (http://www.weather.uwyo.edu/upperair/sounding.html); GPM precipitation data from the NASA/JAXA Global Precipitation Measurement mission. WRF model outputs were generated by the authors and are not publicly redistributable. ** Before using the data, the corrections mentioned in the paper should be applied.
