This study tracks how Tehran’s green spaces have changed from 2015 to 2023 using satellite data. By analyzing land surface temperature and vegetation, it identifies areas that help cool the city and maps how their connectivity has shifted over time. The results show a loss of cooling zones in the north and expansion of heat in the south, revealing an imbalance in green space distribution. These insights can guide urban planners to improve cooling and climate resilience across the city.
