资源简介:
The early mortality of Atlantic salmon fry is an important factor in commercial fish hatching. The fry that have not reached the critical body size is more susceptible to bacterial infections than physiologically and immunologically mature individuals. The current study was designed to explore the effects of continuous UV disinfection on the dynamics of microbial communities in the circulating water of newly established RAS facility. In addition we have studied effects of UV treatment on the growth and survival rates of Atlantic salmon fry reared in the established production RAS system. We have performed isolation of microorganisms from circulating water and in current bioproject report whole genome sequences of the selected microbial isolates. We also provide data on annual dynamics of microbial communities in RAS accessed by 16S metabarcoding. The current data has been generated by Alexander K. Bekkelund with partial support from EU JPI Water 2016 project ABAWARE.
