Matching device for standing log splitters， can be retrofitted to almost any standing log splitter or Vertical splitter， for the production of very small logs， also known as match or kindling， with a frame and a split grating arranged therein， which is formed from at least two cutting edges， characterized in that the split grate is designed such that it is from an upper side of the split grille ， on which a log to be split is fed， to the underside of the split screen between the individual cutting edges has ever increasing opening cross sections.
