TESS-Based Exploratory Analysis of Candidate Delta Scuti Variable Stars: Reproducibility Package
收藏资源简介:
This reproducibility package supports an independent exploratory analysis of 34 candidate Delta Scuti variable stars using publicly available observations from NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS). The archive contains five Jupyter notebooks covering candidate selection, TESS light-curve processing, target-registry construction, statistical analysis, and stellar-property analysis. It also includes pinned Python dependencies, derived CSV and LaTeX tables, summary figures, citation metadata, documentation, and SHA-256 checksums. The analysis uses TESS Input Catalog identifiers, Lightkurve data retrieval, quality filtering, relative-flux normalization, Lomb-Scargle periodograms, and sinusoidal fits at the dominant frequency. Derived measurements include dominant period, fitted sinusoidal semi-amplitude, residual scatter, periodogram power, descriptive sample statistics, catalog stellar properties, exploratory H-R diagrams, and estimated pulsation constants. The classifications included in this archive are exploratory screening labels intended to prioritize further investigation. They do not represent confirmed astrophysical classifications or pulsation-mode identifications. The sample is catalog-selected and should not be interpreted as an unbiased representation of the Delta Scuti population. This version is a reproducibility snapshot of the current 34-target analysis. The underlying measurements include historical results produced before the addition of complete run identifiers, false-alarm probabilities, observing baselines, Rayleigh frequency resolutions, and expanded product provenance. A complete rerun using the hardened pipeline is planned for a later release. Raw TESS light curves are not included because they can be retrieved again from the public MAST archive. Notebook outputs and machine-specific metadata were removed from the deposit copies to protect privacy and improve portability.
