Soil fungal communities in agroecosystem influenced directly or indirectly by soil properties and topographic features. Extent at which those features contributing to the complexity and distribution of fungal communities in agricultural landscape is still to be explored. We characterize fungal communities in bulk soil collected from a commercial potato field with rolling landform, utilizing amplicon sequencing of Internal Transcribed Spacer region of rDNA. Fungal and saprotroph community compositions in individual soil samples varied but soil pH and soil organic carbon (SOC) strongly influence those communities.
