Field Data on the Effects of Integrated Pest Management on Maize Health and Yield in Northern Ghana

This dataset contains field trial data evaluating the impact of different pest control treatments (including insecticides, neem cake, and fertilizers) on crop health and yield. It includes observations on pest presence (larvae, spittlebugs, egg masses), beneficial insects (spiders, ladybird beetles), plant damage, and yield outcomes such as cob quality and grain weight. The data supports integrated pest management and treatment effectiveness analysis in maize cultivation. The data were collected in three locations in Northern Ghana — Nyankpala, Nakpanzoo, and Koduziegu — during 2023.
