The Chinese jujube has a short shelf-life within 2-3 days under normal conditions. The underlying mechanism of fruit ripening regulation is yet to be understood. In our project, the fruit during ripening onset were harvested and treated with exogenous ABA/NDGA, to explore the potential ABA-dependent ripening pathways, and understanding for the ripening regulation network.
