Base GIS (raster and vector) data for a GIS-AHP Decision Support System implementation in three forested areas in Italy

Data are from three study areas: Mount Amiata in Tuscany Sonnino in Latium Mongiana in Calabria the .zip file contains 6 raster per study area, containing the values of 6 environmental variables (criteria) which are used by our DSS to identify the best extraction system among forwarder, cable skidder and cable yarder. Apart from the 18 rasters ( 6 x 3 study areas), there is a shapefile for each area, containing the information of the forest management units and the associated best extraction system. All data are in EPSG 32633, raster have a spatial resolution of 1 m.
