The goal was to examine and compare the transcriptomic profiles of fully differentiated 15 month old muscle derived from bulls belonging to different breeds and showing different performance. Comparison of transcriptomic profiles of mature tissue (15 month old) of semitendinosus muscle from beef breeds Limousin and (LIM) vs. dairy breed Holstein-Friesian (HF) - used as a control. Each comaprison was performed in four bilogical repetitions.
