Birches Creek - Restore, Revegetate, Renew. Protecting our Waterways

The project will exclude stock from Birches creek by fencing out where needed, indigenous species (flora and fauna) will be surveyed along with water quality, weed species will be removed. Pest animals will be monitored and treated. Seed will be collected and grown on. Sites will be prepared for revegetation, weed species will be monitored for regrowth and treated where necessary. Indigenous species will be planted. Community members, Green Army Team and Upper Lodden and Avoca Landcare Network staff will all contribute to learning outcomes in terms of species identification, project planning and management, water quality assessment and monitoring will be ongoing.
