Repulsive Serial Dependence in Visual Working Memory Modulated by Target Fidelity - Data - Analysis Scripts - Experiment - Model Fits

This repository includes datasets, analysis scripts, model fits, and experiment file for the experiments reported in Repulsive Serial Dependence in Visual Working Memory Modulated by Target Fidelity (2026, BMC Biology). Files main_exp_df.csv and pilot_exp_df.csv include data preprocessed as reported in the manuscript and can be used to reproduce the results and the plots reported in the manuscript. The file main_exp_df_blw_60.csv includes data preprocessed with more lenient exclusion criteria. Variables in the dataset - the data are in the long format, each row represents a trial subject_nr: subject identifier Lag: Lag between T1 and T2 in the sequence (Lag 3 means there were 2 masking stimulus in between T1 and T2) T1error: Directional error in the reproduction of the first item in the stream. (circular, modulo:180) T2error: Directional error in the reproduction of the second item in the stream.
