Land impacted by inundation due to sea level rise is projected to rise in the United Kingdom under various Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSP).Under the SSP1-2.6 the mean projected area affected by sea level rise in the UK is almost 265 square kilometers in at the end of the century. In comparison, the projected land area affected under the SSP5-8.5 high emission scenario is approximately 607.5 square kilometers at the same time frame.
