资源简介:
The transcriptional profile of liver samples from male C57BL/6J mice was evaluated using a dual-channel microarray. The mice were divided into two groups: a negative control group fed a high-fat diet, and an experimental group fed a high-fat diet supplemented with methyl donors. This approach allowed for the analysis of gene expression differences associated with methyl donor supplementation in the context of a high-fat diet. Male C57BL/6J mice were used in this study and divided into two groups: a high-fat and high-sugar diet (HF) for 18 weeks, and a group receiving a HF diet for 10 weeks followed by 8 weeks of supplementation with methionine, choline, betaine, folate, cobalamin, and ZnSO4 (MET, n=8). At the end of the treatment period, liver samples were collected for RNA extraction and processed for microarray analysis. Gene expression profiles were compared between the HF(Cy5) vs MET(Cy3) groups to identify changes associated with the diet and supplementation.
