SEPHS1 affects various cellular functions, such as redox homeostasis, and is known to be essential for embryo survival and growth. However, the detailed mechanism of which gene or pathway is regulated by Sephs1 during development and by what mechanism embryo lethality occurs have not been elucidated. In this study, several pathways regulated by SEPHS1 during gastrulation were identified by bioinformatical analysis.
