Cocrystallization experiments of acyclovir (ACV) using 2,6-dihydroxybenzoic acid (26DHBA) as a coformer were performed. Two new ionic ACV-26DHBA complexes were obtained. Salts were obtained not only by cocrystallization from the solution. The above systems were obtained by milling and cocrystallization from suspension with, and without microwave radiation. The new adducts were characterized using X-ray diffraction. The deposited CIF files include crystallographic information regarding the single-crystal X-ray data collection and the crystal structures of the obtained adducts. The analysis of the arrangement of molecules in the crystal lattice through a series of hydrogen bonds was performed using the Mercury program.
