Survey Data on Factors Influencing Electric Vehicle Adoption in Malaysia (n=85)
收藏资源简介:
The dataset comprises responses from 85 participants across 37 variables, capturing both demographic characteristics and perceptual measures relevant to electric vehicle (EV) adoption. Demographic variables include gender, education level, and income level, while the substantive constructs are operationalised through five multi-item scales measured on a five-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree to 5 = Strongly Agree): EV Adoption (EVA; 5 items) assessing post-adoption satisfaction and recommendation behaviour; Performance Expectancy (PE; 8 items) reflecting perceived utility, cost savings, and lifestyle benefits of EVs; Effort Expectancy (EE; 7 items) capturing perceived ease of learning, charging, and operating EVs; Facilitating Conditions (FC; 8 items) measuring infrastructure availability, affordability concerns, and grid reliability; and Social Influence (SI; 6 items) gauging peer, family, and social norm pressures toward EV uptake. The instrument is grounded in the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework and is designed to identify the key drivers and barriers shaping consumer EV adoption decisions in the Malaysian context.
