The letters sent bundle includes instructions from Mr Justice Manning to his associate, Mr Irving Kent, together with letters from the Judge to public officials and individuals. The letters received bundle includes office memos, letters concerning state wards, books and stores requisitions, circulars, letters from defendants petitioning for mitigation of sentences, and invitations to theatres, Town Hall functions, athletic afternoons and other public functions. One notable invitation was to the Peoples' Federal Convention at Bathurst 1896 to discuss federation.(2/8561). 1 box.
