A Syllabified Lexical Dataset of Modern Greek

This dataset presents an ordered collection of simple (non-compound) Modern Greek words annotated for syllabic structure. For each lexical item, the dataset includes the Greek word form, the syllable count (n), an explicit syllabification, and an English gloss, following standard Modern Greek usage and authoritative lexicographic sources. The dataset serves as a reusable reference for phonological, corpus-based, and computational linguistic research.
