This repository contains datasets and scripts to create figures for "Greenhouse gas and climate effects of global wetland restoration under future warming", Wagner et al, 2026. Datasets: Monthly wetland area dataset Carbon sequestration estimates for global wetlands Methane emission estimates for global wetlands Figure scripts: Scripts to generate all figures and tables Fair emissions data: Csv files of global monthly totals of methane emissions and total carbon flux (carbon sequestration and drained emissions) used in FaIR simulations. Archiving is currently underway and this repository contains temporary access for peer review.
