KDM2B is a demethylase for histone H3K36. To analyze the role of KDM2B in hematopoiesis and leukemogenesis, we generated long-form KDM2B (LF-KDM2B) knockout mice. We found that loss of LF-KDM2B delays the onset of MLL-AF9-mediated acute myeloid leukemia in a mouse BMT model. We performed ATAC-seq analysis of Leukemic stem cells (L-GMP) from MLL-AF9-transduced control and LF-KDM2B knockout cells.
