Income Elasticity of Under-5 Mortality: A Multi-Stage Bayesian Hierarchical Analysis

This dataset contains the Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) posterior distributions (NetCDF format) from a multi-stage Bayesian hierarchical analysis investigating the association between macroeconomic indicators and the Under-5 Mortality Rate (U5MR). The repository includes the complete posterior samples across four modeling stages:* Stage 1: simple_model_rcs.nc* Stage 2: regional_model_rcs.nc* Stage 3: hierarchical_model_rcs_v2.nc* Stage 4: u5mr_elasticity.nc These files provide the probabilistic basis for evaluating the regional-level trajectories against the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3.2 benchmark.
