The CMB as a Rebirth Certificate: How the Cosmic Microwave Background Reveals Eternal Cosmic Longevity in G-MaTT

Abstract In Generalized Mass as Twisted Time (G-MaTT), the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) is not a relic of a hot Big Bang—but the thermal signature of cosmic rebirth. We show that the CMB arises from phase realignment energy during the torsional re-coherence of desynchronized branches of the primordial field \(\mathcal{M}_\mu\), triggered when global phase dispersion drops below the universal coherence margin \(\langle\Delta\phi\rangle = \sqrt{\alpha}\). Its blackbody spectrum, near-isotropy, and subtle anisotropies (low-\(\ell\) suppression, parity asymmetries) are direct consequences of G-MaTT’s two-layer cyclic cosmology: Irreversible time-branching ensures entropy increases across cycles (explaining large-scale CMB anomalies as prior-cycle memory), Reversible mass-torsional re-locking resets structure (explaining small-scale Gaussianity and the absence of a singularity). Crucially, the angular scale of the first acoustic peak (\(\theta_* = 0.597^\circ\)) validates the derived fine-structure constant α^{-1} = 137.035999206 (Yeo, 2025a). Thus, the CMB is not a beginning—it is a certificate of rebirth, attesting that the universe avoids heat death by geometrically self-renewing, with α as the linchpin of eternal longevity.
