Surface temperatures data were collected in the Atlantic Ocean from the R/V Seward Johnson. Data were collected from March to June of 1995 as part of the GLOBal oceans ECosystems dynamics research (GLOBEC) project. The purpose of the project was to track biological distributions and investigate small-scale dynamics of the southern flank of the Georges Bank using GPS-tracked drifters.
