Raw GBIF occurrence records of Desmodus rotundus used for ecological niche modelling across the Neotropics

This dataset contains the original (raw) occurrence records of Desmodus rotundus retrieved from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) and used as the initial input for ecological niche modelling analyses. A total of 5,000 occurrence records were downloaded using the R package rgbif. These records represent the raw dataset prior to any quality control, duplicate removal, spatial filtering, taxonomic validation, or other cleaning procedures performed during data preprocessing. The processed occurrence dataset used for ecological niche modelling was derived from this raw dataset. This record is published to provide a permanent, citable reference for the exact occurrence data that supported the analyses presented in the associated study.
