Socio-economic characteristics of farmers on the southern slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro

This dataset was collected using a questionnaire survey, conducted in summer/fall 2022. The survey was a collaborative effort involving several sub-projects (SPs) under the DFG-funded Kili SES project (https://kili-ses.senckenberg.de/). Data collection was carried out across 14 villages located on the southern slopes of Kilimanjaro in the Rombo, Moshi Rural, Hai, and Siha districts. The dataset includes responses from 306 participants and captures a wide range of variables related to agricultural practices, income sources, resource use, and household demographics.
