Actaea L. (Ranunculaceae) species from New York state

This package contains genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) data and derived SNP
matrices used to evaluate the distinctiveness of Actaea rhodostigma sp.
nov. relative to A. pachypoda and A. rubra in New York State. Fresh leaf
tissue was collected across six sites and dried in silica; sequencing
libraries were prepared with the ApeKI restriction enzyme and run on an
Illumina NovaSeq 6000 to generate 150-bp paired-end
reads. Sampling comprised A. rubra (n = 3), A. pachypoda (n = 4),
and A. rhodostigma sp. nov. (n = 5). The resulting analyses from
this data support the distinctiveness of A. rhodostigma as a distinct
lineage within the North American Actaea species.
