RNA sequencing analysis of retinal gene expression in streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice

This study investigates the early transcriptomic changes in mouse retinal tissueduring the initial 4 weeks following streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetes. Retinalsamples were collected weekly to characterize temporal gene expression patterns andidentify key molecular drivers of diabetic retinopathy pathogenesis. RNA sequencingwas performed on 3 or 4 biological replicates per time point using Illumina NovaSeq 6000platform with paired-end 150 bp reads. Data will be used to discover critical genesand pathways involved in the onset and progression of diabetic retinal disease.
