The spreadsheet contains four separate sheets with a variety of data associated with the paper. The sheet labelled ‘Experimental conditions‘ details the plume source conditions, the strength of the ambient stratification and the particles used. ‘Consequential values’ presents a number of calculated parameters important to understanding plume dynamics including the values of the entrainment coefficient and the virtual source. ‘Measurements’ include experimental values determined either from image analysis or direct sampling; and ‘Time dependent values (Fig 8b)’ provides the raw data to produce Figure 8b.
